In addition to the need to successfully complete all their course requirements, students are required to pass a final examination in order to graduate and - if they wish to secure the option of pursuing Ph. D. studies in History or Political Science - have to submit an MA thesis written under the supervision of two lecturers.
The program has been allocated two permanent positions - one in political science and one in history. In addition, it employs several senior faculty members from both departments as well as an adjunct staff, including practitioners who combine professional experience with an impressive academic background.
In addition to its formal activities, the Program offers its students and the intellectual and the defense communities a broad array of academic activities, including public seminars and series of lectures, which focus on such issues as Israel and the peace process, the security implications - for Israel - of a Palestinian settlement, etc.
